Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a practice that will guide you to a healthier state of being.

When we practice Restorative yoga the body is in passive postures supported by props using no muscle effort.  We on releasing muscular and inner tension. The mind becomes spacious and the body receptive. The body shifts from the sympathetic nervous - fight and flight - to the para-sympathetic nervous system - rest and restore. It is here, where the body begins to heal itself.  Restorative poses help the relaxation response to kick in, balancing the nervous system and optimizing energy flow to our organs. The body is set up for deep healing, weight loss, growth and repair. Restorative yoga helps relieve the effects of chronic stress and move the spine in all directions to promote greater well-being.
Restorative yoga is an incredible system to heal the body and mind.

Restorative yoga is a "yummy"  practice, a treat, like a massage or mani pedi.

Modern life is often demanding and disconnects us from what is most important. Restorative Yoga can assist you in reconnecting you to your Source.

Classes are offered every Sunday, 11:30 am at the You Can Do It Yoga Center
